Information you provide
We may collect information you choose to provide when you create or update an account, contact support, submit a report, request account deletion or otherwise use JustLocalz.
Account and profile information
This may include your name, contact details, profile photo, username and other profile details you choose to add.
Business information
Business accounts may provide business names, descriptions, categories, contact details, operating information, images, offers and other information intended to be shown publicly.
User-generated content
We process content you create or share, including Local Flash posts, Flash Stories, event or group activity and related metadata. Visibility depends on the feature and choices available to you.
Messages
We process message content and related information as needed to deliver messaging features, maintain safety, respond to reports and comply with applicable obligations.
Location and device permissions
JustLocalz is built around local discovery. The Android app requests location permission for nearby features and may request camera, microphone, contacts or notification permissions when you choose a feature that needs them. Collection depends on the permission you grant and the feature you use; permissions can be changed in Android settings.
Usage, analytics and device information
The Android app is configured with Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics and may process feature interactions, diagnostics, IP address, device and app information, identifiers, crash data and performance information. This website does not currently include a separate advertising or behavioral-tracking integration.
Website cookies and storage
The current public website does not intentionally set non-essential cookies or use browser local storage for advertising or behavioral analytics. Hosting, security and download delivery providers may still process request metadata such as IP address, user agent and timestamps to operate and protect the service.
Firebase and service providers
The Android app uses Firebase services for authentication, database storage, cloud functions, file storage, push messaging, analytics and crash reporting. The website uses Firebase Admin for support-form storage when configured. Hosting and email-delivery providers may also process information to operate the website and deliver support messages.

Safety and moderation
We may review content, account information and reports when reasonably necessary to investigate possible violations, respond to safety concerns and enforce our Terms and Community Guidelines.
Data sharing
Information may be visible to other users according to the feature and your choices. We may also share information with service providers, when required by law, to protect safety or rights, or as part of a legitimate business transaction. We do not describe a practice as a sale or non-sale here unless that conclusion has been legally verified for the applicable context.
Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including providing the service, maintaining security, resolving disputes and meeting legal obligations. Retention can vary by information type and context.
Your controls and requests
You can edit available profile fields in the app, change Android permissions in device settings and use the website forms to contact support, report a concern or request account deletion. Requests to access or correct account information may require identity verification and will be handled according to available product controls and applicable law.
Account deletion
The current in-app Delete Account control removes the locally saved account from that device; it does not delete the server account. To request deletion of the JustLocalz account and associated data, use the website Delete Account form. Verification may be required, and limited information may be retained where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance or dispute resolution.
Children and age considerations
JustLocalz is not intended for children who are not legally able to use the service. Age requirements may depend on applicable law. Parents or guardians with concerns can contact us through the website.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures intended to protect information. No service can guarantee absolute security, so users should also protect their devices and credentials.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product, practices or law change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when appropriate.
