These Terms describe the rules and responsibilities that apply when you access or use JustLocalz. They are written to be understandable, not to hide the important parts.
Eligibility
You may use JustLocalz only if you can enter into these Terms under applicable law. If you use the service for a business, you confirm you are authorized to act for it.
Account responsibilities
Provide accurate information, protect your credentials and tell us if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account, subject to applicable law.
User content
You retain ownership of content you create. You give us the permissions reasonably needed to host, process, display and distribute that content to operate and improve the service, consistent with your settings and applicable law.
Business accounts
Business profiles must accurately represent the relevant business. Do not create misleading listings, impersonate another business or publish offers you cannot honor.
Acceptable use
Use JustLocalz lawfully, respectfully and in line with the Community Guidelines. Consider the local context and the real people who may be affected by what you share.
Prohibited conduct
- Harassment, threats, hate, exploitation or doxxing
- Fraud, scams, impersonation or deceptive listings
- Illegal activity or instructions that create serious harm
- Spam, malicious automation or attempts to disrupt the service
- Unauthorized access, scraping or circumvention of safety controls
- Infringement of intellectual-property or privacy rights
Events
Event listings may be created by independent organizers. Review the organizer, venue, timing, cost and safety information before participating. JustLocalz does not automatically organize or endorse an event merely because it appears in the service.
Messages
Use messaging responsibly. Do not send unwanted commercial messages, abusive content or requests for sensitive information. The website currently provides a report form; additional in-app blocking and reporting controls may be added as the beta develops.
Promotions and payments
Promotion tools may be introduced in the future. Any available price, duration, payment and refund details will be shown before purchase and may be governed by additional terms. Normal business posting is intended to remain free; optional promotion purchases provide additional reach.
Content moderation
We may review, limit, remove or preserve content and may restrict features when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, maintain the service or comply with law. Moderation decisions can depend on context and available information.
Account suspension or termination
We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated violations, security risks, legal requirements or material harm to the service or others. Any notice or review process will depend on the circumstances, available operational process and applicable law.
Intellectual property
The JustLocalz name, product design, software and original service materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant permission to use our marks in a misleading way.
Third-party services
The service may rely on or link to third-party services. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their services, and availability may change independently of JustLocalz.
Service availability
We work to keep JustLocalz useful and available, but features may change, pause or be unavailable. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Limitations
To the extent permitted by applicable law, JustLocalz is provided without guarantees beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liabilities that applicable law does not allow us to limit.
Governing law and disputes
The governing entity, jurisdiction and any formal dispute process have not yet been approved for publication. Those fields remain marked for founder and legal review; applicable law and non-waivable rights continue to apply in the meantime.
Changes
We may update these Terms as the service or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when appropriate. Continued use after an update may mean the updated Terms apply, subject to applicable law.
